On June 17th, Jonathan and and Carissa tied the knot in Texarkana!
Brendan found a date while we were there:
For The Fourth of July we went to see Jordan's family down in Hammond, LA. This is Alton and Terri with Brendan on the 4th right before we headed home:
Brendan got to show off his trike riding skills with his cousin, Samuel.:
We also got to meet the newest addition to the family, Luke:
Of course celebrating would not be complete without some time spent with the Jones Fam!
We also made several trips to Shreveport and for our Anniversary Tom and Elizabeth kept Brendan for a week!
Lobster Fest at The Shreveport Club... yum!
Brendan had tons of fun during his visit.
On the left B is sitting on the steps of "The Columns", a house that Tome and Elizabeth are remodeling. The pic on the right is him eating a Geauxcicle at the Farmer's Market:

Also, time with no kiddo means time for me to sew:
Brendan and his Mimi:
Since Jordan didn't have any classes this summer we crammed in as much fun as we could. So, aside from getting to spend time with our families we also tried out some new stuff in Dallas. I got pictures of a few of our events:
NRH20
B saw his first movie in a theater:
The "Creature Teacher" at Northpark Mall. She brought all kinds of reptiles to show the kids. Plus, they have music time... all for free!
Lego Land at The Museum of Nature and Science:
